Nice to meet "You"

Wednesday, March 30, 2005

People never cease to amaze me. In a postive sense as well as negative. People are unpredictable. People will always find a way to surpise you. People are never who you think they are. People change their outlook or view in a split second. We all know this. It is not something we are blind to. My question is,

would you stand near a ticking time bomb?

No. I would not. But the truth is. We all do. In our daily relationships. We trust these things with secrets, information, and our emotions. We work, study, play, among unpredictable, unstable things. People.

That amazes me. I also think it is one of the most beautiful qualities of humans. We are able to let (for the most part) our guard down and form relationships with people.

We have all been burned. Emotionally. I do not know a single person who has not had a negative experience because of someones actions. A bomb going off.

so,

You would think we would learn right? Is it stupidity? I don't know, but I think its beautiful. No matter how many times we get burned, we go right back into the kitchen.

I think that allows us to get on with life. That constant search for relationships (Not just romantic).

People never cease to amaze me. People are unpredictable. People will always find a way to surpise you. Especially when its yourself.

That is the scary part.

In these past two years I have really learned a lot about myself. How I deal with realtionships. And it has surprised even myself (Relax I am not saying I am some kind of nut job).

You think you can trust yourself. You think out all the people you know, you know yourself the best. Think again.

Aquaint yourself with yourself. However way possible. So the next time you see him/her you know how to deal with them.
